Affiliate Marketing, yes, you can make a lot of money, you can make money very quickly if you do it right.
But the TRUTH is, it’s not easy but it’s also not that difficult, when you know how.
You just have to have dedication, the drive, and the passion to do it.
I did it but it’s not going to be something where if you’re coming from a place where you don’t have a job right now and you’re not gonna eat two days from now, this isn’t going to solve that problem.
That’s the truth.
You’ve got bigger problems than what I can solve at the moment.
But look, like I say, I want to reiterate something, if you’re looking for a get rich, quick kind of thing…this isn’t it.
People will tell you, (I’d love to tell you the same) that you can get rich overnight.
I would love say that to you, but if I did – I’d be lying.
Anybody who does tell you that are lying to you, or they’ve got some vested interest.
They’re probably trying to get you hooked into some sort of bogus multi-level marketing or a pyramid scheme or something like that, because anything, get this, If there’s anything that I want you to take from what I’m telling you right now it’s this:
Nothing worth doing is ever quick.
In other words, things that are worth doing, things that are truly worth doing, there will be a learning curve involved.
Think about it…if there was a way to get rich, quick, overnight, everybody would be millionaires, right?
I’m not a millionaire.
I’ll be honest and tell you right now, I’m not a millionaire, but I do have a very good lifestyle.
I make a very good income, quit my job completely and been at this game for eight years now.
I’ve done six figures a year quite comfortably with affiliate marketing and nothing else.
You can do it too, it can be done.
It just takes that little bit of drive, that little bit of determination.
And like I say nothing worth doing is going to be quick.
So with that being said, I want to just walk through with you with what I actually do.
The RIGHT Way To Do Affiliate Marketing
There’s a few steps involved with what I actually do.
The first one is:
…you need customers, it’s also known as traffic in the Internet world, to your website and they join your email list and then you promote affiliate products to them.
If you’ve never heard the term “traffic” before, it’s basically customers or visitors to your Affiliate website or blog.
You need eyeballs on your website, and there’s lot’s of ways to get traffic to your websites to do that.
If you look around my website, I show you many ways that you can get traffic to your affiliate website, whether it be Search Engine Optimization, which is known as “SEO”, which is ranking highly in the search engines like Google and Bing. You can learn more about SEO here.
I like Search Engine Optimization because that’s a whole bunch of free traffic.
That method takes a little bit longer than other methods, things like Pay Per Click, Google ads, Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads.
There’s all these things that you can plug into your business to get more customers (traffic) to your website, and therefore more customers to your website, more customers on your list and a strong relationship with those customers, that’s the goal here.
You want happy customers.
You’ll hear people talk about how “the money is in the list”.
I disagree STRONGLY with that.
The money is in the relationship that you have with your list NOT the size of your list.
Affiliate marketing (the right way) is ethical marketing and giving them the opportunity to purchase a product from you that they already have an interest in.
Whether you want to be a fitness affiliate, a personal development affiliate, a weight loss affiliate, a DIY affiliate, there’s loads of niches.
But the ultimate goal is to get a group of people who are interested in a particular subject, get them onto your email list.
You can use an autoresponder tool like this one I highly recommend to automate this process.
You’ll use a tool like that to keep in touch with your subscribers regularly.

Here’s how email marketing works, the way I do it:
- People who are interested in what you’re selling join my list for more information,
- I send them good, engaging content that they’re already interested in
- I then promote affiliate products to them using highly engaging email sequences that when done correctly, explodes my earnings.
Most affiliate marketers don’t realise the power of building an email list.
They just plaster their websites with banner ads and live in hope that somebody will click one of them.
They don’t realise the the money is actually in the follow up via email.
It’s what took me from $100 bucks a month to 5 figures a month.
There are nuances to that and I’ll go through them in a separate blog post, but that is essentially the bulk of what I do.
