A question I see frequently, usually at least twice per week, is the question of promoting Adult CPA Affiliate offers and getting Adult traffic and whether or not it’s worth it.
This is going to be a short and sweet blog post because my answer is going to pretty blunt and probably not what you want to hear.
If you’re even passively interested in promoting Adult Affiliate or CPA offers my advice is don’t bother.
It’s one of the most (if not the most) aggressively competitive markets online.
It’s a BRUTAL vertical where even the BEST affiliates are struggling to make the numbers work.
About 7 or 8 years ago, Adult CPA marketing was INSANELY profitable.
Mainly because traffic in this vertical was still reasonably accessible, at one point, in the early days of Facebook Ads I saw affiliates managing to get Adult Ads approved on Facebook.
These days, you’ll probably get your account shut down.
Actually, there’s no ‘probably’ about it, you absolutely WILL undoubtedly lose your account if you attempt anything close to Adult CPA on Facebook in 2021.
in 2010-13 it was still highly competitive in those days, but nowhere near as competitive as it is in today’s world.
Not even close.
It’s nearly impossible to get traffic for Adult CPA offers in 2021
You’ve got no chance of running Ads on Tier 1 traffic sources like Google Ads or Facebook and most Tier 2 traffic sources aswell.
By “Tier 2” I’m referring to traffic sources like 7 Search (no longer even exists), Looksmart, POF (Plenty of Fish) DirectCPV and others.
With Tier 1 and Tier 2 traffic sources out of the question, that just leaves specialist sources like Adult CPA networks themselves.
Whilst these networks cater to Adult offers, every other affiliate and their dog in this vertical are on them aswell, this means you’ll pay TOP dollar just to even slightly compete and the margins for profit are tiny.
You’d be competing against other advertisers with serious clout.
I’ve seen affiliates pooling $10K daily budgets just to test what marginally works.
And due to the fact Adult media buying traffic is at the TOP end of Premium and because it’s so expensive, the margin’s for profit are tiny.
I only knew 1 person who made serious money online in the Adult market and he owned his own network and had an army of affiliates pushing his offer.
As the years went by and the industry became more and more competitive and costs continued to climb, most of his affiliates “abandoned ship” and in the end, he shut his OWN network down.
It’s THAT tough.
Probably only the TOP 1% of Affiliates are making money in the Adult vertical and most of them are extreme black hat Affiliates.

I would never say NEVER try…because you might stumble upon a method that other affiliates have missed.
Although I can’t think what could have been missed, because every conceivable Adult CPA method, hack or loophole under the sun has been exhausted to within an inch of it’s life.
I would go as far as to say, I’d rather eat a jar full of Jalepeno Chillies than try and compete in the Adult CPA Niche in 2021.
