How To Succeed and Compete In Highly Competitive Niche Markets Like The Fitness Industry
One of the biggest things I see holding people back from Affiliate Marketing or starting any online business, is they get caught up in the fear of competition.
Meaning, they don’t see how to compete, especially in highly competitive markets.
I’m an affiliate in one of the most savagely competitive Niche markets online.
The fitness market.
A lot of people say to me, and it’s a very valid concern that I see a lot and I can totally understand it..
“I want to be an affiliate, I want to go into the fitness Niche as an affiliate, but you know, what? There’s hell of a lot of competition, and I don’t think I’m gonna be able to stand out.”
I hear that an awful lot.
Far too much for my liking.
Why?
Because that kind of thinking is extremely self limiting and perhaps even outright negative.
I currently operate in:
- the bodybuilding market
- the supplement market
- the weight loss market.
Those markets are all very tough markets.
But there are ways I was able to cut through those markets, even with a tiny budget.
There’s STILL highly effective ways to break down those barriers.
I’ve been an affiliate marketer since 2011-2012, for about eight years (at the time of writing this blog post), almost exclusively in the fitness markets.
If I can do it, you can do it, anybody can do it.
It just takes a bit of a shift in mindset.
There is more competition now than when I started. But that’s to your advantage, in my opinion.
The more competition there is, the more opportunity and money you can make.
That might seem counter-intuitive but it’s true.
Here’s why…
If you enter into a market, any market and there’s no competition at all, I would be more concerned by that than entering a market where there’s too much competition.
You CANNOT make any worthwhile money in non-competitive markets.
You just can’t.
But if you do affiliate marketing in the fitness markets, and you do it right, you can 100% compete in it.
Because nobody has an entire market share, right?
There are big websites, big businesses, but they don’t have the whole market.
The fitness industry is a multibillion dollar industry.
Here’s a quote from Statista:
An Business Insider claims the Industry is exploding to 100BN PER year:
And believe me if you do things right, and you do things the proper way, the way that I show you right here on this blog you can make a job-quitting income and succeed in very highly competitive markets.
In fact, I’ve got an affiliate marketing guide here that can help get you started.
It’s all about how I’ve been able to make an income with affiliate marketing in highly competitive markets and Niches.
I’m more than happy to show you as well.
And like I said to you earlier in this blog post, if I can do it, you can do it
BUT…
There’s a right way and there’s a wrong way.
It’s important you understand this…
Competitive Markets Bad News
95% of people fail.
BUT….
They fail because they go about it the WRONG way.
Competitive Markets Good News
Affiliate marketing in the fitness Niche is very profitable.
It’s very lucrative, if you do it right.
It’s a multibillion dollar per year industry.
If you can just get a small piece of that, even just 1% of that, you’re gonna be making a very good income and even replace your job altogether, like I did.
It all comes down to is this:
If you worry about competition too much, you’ll never do anything.
It’s like getting into your car and never putting the car into “drive”.
Like I said to you…
There is no market, there is no business to be built anywhere where there is no competition.
You’re not gonna come into any industry, any market, completely unchallenged.
If you do, hats off to you, but it’s rare.
Nobody can do that, yet ordinary people just like you and me succeed.
If you worry about competition and you worry about other competitors muscling in on you or not being able to compete with them then you might as well give up now.
But that would be the easy thing to do. Wouldn’t it?
You have to put that out of your mind completely.
If you want to do fitness affiliate marketing in the fitness niches, such as the bodybuilding market or the supplement market, you have to put the threat of competition out of your mind completely.
You have to focus on what you’re doing, NOT what your competitors are doing.
You’ve got to focus on your own game.
That’s how you’re going to compete in competitive Niche markets
With that being said, I’ve got a fitness affiliate marketing guide that you can download here. It outlines my entire affiliate marketing approach even in savagely competitive Niches (free)
