My name is Ben Fletcher, I’ve been a full time Affiliate Marketer since 2012.
I’m also profoundly deaf.
This was due to a Motocross incident which I’ll tell you about a bit later..
My Journey began in the summer of 2012 when I was working for a German Car Manufacturer as a Mechanic.
My job consisted of starting at 7:30am and by 9am I would be up to my elbows in grease, this wasn’t helped by the fact that I fk’ng hated my job.
Not a day would go by without having some sort of argument with somebody or the workshop boss yelling orders at me.
Then one day, I was emptying a customers car boot out (That’s Trunk if you’re in America).
As I was doing so, I was removing this guys personal items and they were all really expensive things, expensive designer shoes and other expensive items.
It was at that moment, that I realised there must be a better way to earn a living other than what I was doing because…
Being a car mechanic doesn’t pay very well, I was earning about £18,000 PER YEAR (UK GBP) and that’s BEFORE tax!!
I quit my job slap bang in the middle of Christmas of that year with just $50 to my name.
Looking back, I took a massive risk.
Being almost completely deaf (I wear 2 hearing aids), my back was against the wall.
I was severely limited by job options if my venture into Affiliate Marketing failed.
I wouldn’t be able to do anything phone orientated, this rules out:
• most office jobs,
• most sales jobs
• and virtually all customer centric job roles.
I had no other job to go to. My back was against the wall.
To cut a long story short, I stumbled into affiliate marketing and it literally saved my ass.
My first affiliate commission was for $56.78 promoting a product in the fitness industry:
I went on to earn another $37,000 promoting similar products over the course of the next 6 months (this is DOUBLE what I’d earn as car mechanic for an entire year).
That company has now since been sold and because affiliate marketing so adaptable I found a different offer to promote…
I then went on to make a further almost $70,000 promoting another supplement product within the same industry.
I’ve featured on Leaderboards like this:
This allowed me to follow my passion which is Motocross racing.
I’ve done this since I was about 14 years of age when I had a freak incident, which caused 75% of my hearing loss.
I was on the start grid of about to start a race in the UK Pro Junior Motocross Championships, when my Exhaust blew out.
This caused my ear drums to implode, which has left me profoundly deaf.
Even still at 36 years of age as I write this, I’ve never recovered.
And never will.
I now travel all over Europe living life on my terms with plenty of time to pursue my hobby.
And what you’re about to read in the following pages are the 8 EXACT steps I took and how you can copy them and have similar success (if you do the work).
And ‘work’ is the correct term.
Nothing worth doing is ever easy. EVER.
But it can and will be very rewarding…again…if you do the work.
It doesn’t matter if you’re 18, 50 or 75 years old, this stuff works. I’m 36 and this continues to work for me to this very day almost a decade later.
